The book is poetry that he has written over the years. It is VERY thought provoking and sometimes over MY head. It is his take on social issues, politics and life experiences in general. If you choose to buy it, get it from B & N. If there is enough interest in the book, they will put it on their shelves. If you know Mark at all, you know how passionate he is about what he believes. It is an exciting event for all of us, but more so for him to see his name in print and to see his thoughts published. A word of caution; it is NOT sappy poetry, and you have the opportunity to read and form your own thoughts from his. That is the beauty of the writings. You take away what you want from them. The one I think has the most meaning for me is the poem "A Bad Day". When I first read it, I didn't get it. After talking with him about it...I understood. It was his feelings the day his Dad told he and his brother he had terminal cancer. Congratulations Mark, it will be a winner, it is a dream fulfilled.
